Rolldark Fest is a one-day special event to give back to the tabletop roleplaying community.

This November, Rolldark Fest will host face2face games of Dungeons & Dragons from Baskerville Hall Hay-on-Wye with live entertainment throughout the day.

Accommodation is available at the hall, so when you have finished rolling dice, you can roll straight into one of the many rooms.

Arthur Conan Doyle was a family friend of the owners who often came to visit Baskerville Hall. During his many visits, he learnt of the local legend of the hounds of the Baskervilles.

It is reputed that on nearby Hergest Ridge, he translated this into probably the most famous case for his celebrated detective Sherlock Holmes.

However, at the request of his friends, he set the book in Devon “to ward off tourists”.

Spaces at this event are strictly limited, and rooms are subject to availability.

TICKETS GO ON SALE FRIDAY 26TH, MAY.

This event will contain mild horror elements, set in a hyper-fantasised, reimagined Victorian age of spooks, seances and mystics. However, nothing beyond a jump scare can be expected. Due to the nature of this event, Children are welcome, but only those over the age of eleven and accompanied by a paying adult. A waiver will be required for teens sixteen and over if the parent or guardian is absent.
